Your First Kit is back for 2026/27 

After an incredible response in its first year, we’re thrilled to announce that Wembley Stadium Foundation x TeamGrassroots “Your First Kit” scheme is returning — and applications are now open. 

This year, we’re giving away thousands of Nike football kits to newly formed grassroots youth teams across England. At Wembley Stadium Foundation we are passionate about breaking down the biggest barriers to participation and supporting young people to feel they belong. We know that something as simple as a kit can make a real difference: it builds belonging, sparks excitement, and helps give young players something to be proud of. 

Who can apply? 

• Newly formed grassroots teams 

• New 3v3 teams for the 2026/27 season 

• Girls, boys, mixed and disability teams 

• Teams entering a league for the first time

Priority will be given to teams facing the greatest barriers to participation, because every team deserves the chance to play.
